This is a very attractive and unusual William and Mary burr walnut cabinet. The featherbanded top above double doors opening to reveal two removable shelves and a drawer, standing on squashed bun feet.

  • Condition

    There are marks, knocks, splits and losses to the veneer, commensurate with age and use. There are replacements to the mouldings, including the shaped moulding underneath the top and some sections of moulding at the base. The feet are later and the bottom left iron hinge is later. The other doors retain original brass pin hinges and the lock appears to be original, with working key. The piece has a very good patina and appealing proportions.

We can usually arrange delivery with a third party courier on behalf of the buyer. Typical costs are around £80 - £100 within mainland UK for an average-sized chest of drawers and may take up to 14 days, unless an expediated service is required. Costs will be higher for larger items and remote locations. Although we do everything possible to ensure that items arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for damage incurred after items leave our premises.

Collections are welcomed by prior arrangement from our address in Worcestershire.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Full refunds will be provided for all items returned in the same condition as they were sold within 30 days of purchase.
