Pair of 18th century Dutch elm marquetry corner tables
76.5cm high x 53cm wide x 34cm deep
There are marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use. There are minor losses to the inlay and minor breaks/ losses wear to the brass galleries and splits/ detachment to the timber that holds them in place. One of the square floral pattresses on the top has been replaced with a plain section of timber, and part of one of the carved sunflowers is missing. The tables have an attractive honey colour and are structurally sound. Unusually they are decorated all round, so need not be placed against a wall.
