Large Regency Style Mahogany Cheval Dressing Mirror
DESCRIPTION
An elegant mahogany cheval mirror in the Regency style, dating from the 20th century.
 
The large rectangular bevelled mirror plate is enclosed within a substantial mahogany frame, supported by a pair of finely turned and fluted uprights with adjustable brass fittings. The whole is surmounted by a moulded cornice with carved central tablet and decorative mouldings, standing on carved scrolling feet united by a moulded stretcher.
 
Well-proportioned and beautifully made, this is a versatile mirror suitable for a bedroom, dressing room or hall, offering a classic Regency-inspired design with generous scale.

CONDITION
Presented in excellent condition throughout. The mahogany frame has only very light signs of age and use, with the polish retaining a rich, even colour and good depth. The bevelled mirror plate is clean and bright, and the adjustment mechanism operates smoothly. A smart, decorative piece ready for use.

    We can usually arrange delivery throughout mainland UK using trusted independent couriers. Delivery is charged at cost, and quotations are available on request. As a general guide, delivery for an average-sized chest of drawers is typically between £80 and £100. Larger items and more remote locations will incur higher charges.

    Most deliveries are completed within approximately two weeks, although faster delivery may sometimes be available. Please contact us with your postcode for a delivery quotation before purchasing.

    Collections are welcomed by prior arrangement from our address in North Yorkshire.
