DESCRIPTION

A substantial 20th century mahogany refectory dining table of impressive proportions.

The long rectangular two-plank top has a moulded edge and is raised on six substantial turned supports, joined by moulded stretchers and terminating in block and bun feet. The traditional design is influenced by 17th century refectory tables, while its generous scale makes it particularly well suited to a large dining room or kitchen. At 257cm long and 90cm wide, it offers excellent dining space while the 66cm clearance beneath the frieze provides comfortable leg room.

A handsome and very usable table with a warm, rich colour and pleasingly substantial presence.

CONDITION

In good, solid and structurally sound condition. There are various marks, scratches and minor water marks to the top consistent with use. There is a slight (3mm) gap between the two planks towards one end of the top. The legs and base have various minor knocks, marks and some splits.

We can usually arrange delivery throughout mainland UK using trusted independent couriers, charged at cost. As a general guide, delivery for an average-sized chest of drawers is typically £80–£100. Larger items and more remote locations will incur higher charges.

Most deliveries are completed within approximately two weeks, although faster delivery may sometimes be available. Please contact us with your postcode for a delivery quotation before purchasing.
