This is an elegant and imposing Georgian Chippendale-style 19th century mahogany bureau bookcase. It has a carved pediment above two cupboard doors enclosing shelves, above a fall front bureau with a fitted interior over two short and three long drawers.

  • 244cm high x 96cm wide

  • There are various scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use, particularly on the left hand side. There is a small amount of sun fading to the fall. There are old filled handle holes to the drawer fronts and the present handles are later. The locks for the cupboard and fall front have later locks complete with keys. The pediment has a repair using a fixing bracket to the back.

DELIVERY

We can usually arrange delivery with a third party courier on behalf of the buyer. Typical costs are around £80 - £100 within mainland UK for an average-sized chest of drawers and may take up to 14 days, unless an expediated service is required. Costs will be higher for larger items and remote locations. Although we do everything possible to ensure that items arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for damage incurred after items leave our premises.

Collections are welcomed by prior arrangement from our address in Worcestershire.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Full refunds will be provided for all items returned in the same condition as they were sold within 30 days of purchase.
