This is a large and useful George III mahogany crossbanded oak Lancashire chest. The hinged top with moulded edge opening to reveal a vacant interior, with three short drawers below.

  • 92cm high x 145cm wide x 55cm deep

  • There are light marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use. There are some minor losses to the veneer, predominantly a loss to the crossbanding on the bottom right hand drawer and some nibbles out of the left hand corner. There are some shrinkage gaps between the planks of the top but the top is secure with no movement. The chest has an attractive colour and is structurally sound. Both the hinged top and the drawers move freely.

DELIVERY

We can usually arrange delivery with a third party courier on behalf of the buyer. Typical costs are around £80 - £100 within mainland UK for an average-sized chest of drawers and may take up to 14 days, unless an expediated service is required. Costs will be higher for larger items and remote locations. Although we do everything possible to ensure that items arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for damage incurred after items leave our premises.

Collections are welcomed by prior arrangement from our address in Worcestershire.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Full refunds will be provided for all items returned in the same condition as they were sold within 30 days of purchase.
