This is an elegant early 19th-century Regency tilt-top circular centre or breakfast table, veneered in well figured rosewood and finely inlaid with ivory stringing to the top and base. Raised on a well-proportioned triform pedestal base grained as rosewood with outswept rosewood legs terminating in brass castors. The table has practical proportions that make it ideal as a centre, breakfast, or occasional table.

105cm diameter x 71.5cm high
There are light stains, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use, including a small (approx. 1cm) loss to the veneer on one side of the top and some small areas where the ivory sits slightly proud. There is some historic woodworm to the central column of the base, predominantly localised to one side. In attractive overall condition retaining good patina with minor wear consistent with age.
Note: This piece contains pre-1947 ivory and complies with UK Ivory Act regulations.
