19th Century Dutch Marquetry Inlaid Side Table
DESCRIPTION
This is a pretty 19th century Dutch bowfront side table with fine floral marquetry inlay on all sides, including the top, drawer front, and legs. The table features a shaped top, a single dovetailed, oak-lined drawer with pressed brass oval handles and a decorative escutcheon, and elegant cabriole legs.

74cm high x 71cm wide x 47cm deep
 
CONDITION
There are marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use. There are small losses to the marquetry in various places, including in the centre of the top, and minor repairs to both front corners of the top and sporadically elsewhere. There is some wear to the finish on the back of the left hand side, and the rear leg on the right has been reattached at some point, including replacement of a small moulded section. The brassware possibly replaced, but of age. Overall the table is solid and attractive with wear and tear commensurate with a couple hundred of years’ worth of use.

    DELIVERY

    We can usually arrange delivery with a third party courier on behalf of the buyer. Typical costs are around £80 - £100 within mainland UK for an average-sized chest of drawers and may take up to 14 days, unless an expediated service is required. Costs will be higher for larger items and remote locations. Although we do everything possible to ensure that items arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for damage incurred after items leave our premises.

    REFUNDS & RETURNS

    Full refunds will be provided for all items returned in the same condition as they were sold within 30 days of purchase.
