This is a commanding 17th century oak and walnut geometric chest of drawers on stand, probably Dutch. It has a two-plank top with moulded edges over four long oak-lined graduated drawers with applied geometric moulding and ebonised inserts. It is raised on a later oak stand with barley twist legs. A very attractive and unusual statement piece.
